Over the last several days we have done some major work, although I have not been able to document every step with photos. Last week we had crushed stone laid down in preparation for the slab. On Sunday, Casey and Miles spent a lot of the day putting the 3" blue board insulation down. On Monday, Jacob installed the pex tubing for the radiant heat in the basement. On Tuesday, the concrete was poured and power troweled for a silky smooth finish. Also on Tuesday I worked with our electrician to pull the main service wire in, install the meter disconnect, ground rods and ground wire in preparation for the inspection by Green Mountain Power today.
