After the forms were removed from our foundation, we had
Nicom come and apply a 40mil waterproof coating to the exterior. The actual product used is made by
Tremco and is called Tuff-N-Dry. From a distance it looks like tar, but it is actually really smooth to the touch and not sticky at all.

After the foundation was waterproofed,
we Casey got ready to install the foam board insulation. Our home building project is enrolled in the
Energy Star New Home program. Part of the requirements are a minimum of R-15 insulation on foundation walls. The 3" of blue board meets that stipulation of the program.
